Don't be afraid of fats - eat them in the right amounts and ratio! EFSA recommends that adults should consume around 20-35% of their daily calorie intake from fats. (1) Vegetable and animal fats are made up of saturated and unsaturated fatty acids, including monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids, such as omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. In the modern nutrition, the appropriate omega-6/omega-3 ratio has shifted towards omega-6 fatty acids. To counterbalance this, among many other things, omega-3 consumption is recommended. (1) EPA and DHA are both essential (the body needs them but cannot produce them, so they must be obtained from external sources). EPA and DHA contribute to the proper functioning of the heart. Recommended use

Take 2x1 soft gelatine capsules per day. Made in a facility that produces foods containing milk, eggs, gluten, soy, peanuts, tree nuts, celery, fish, crustaceans, molluscs and sulphur dioxide.
